1. San Gervasio Ruins
These Mayan ruins are the number one Archaeological site in Cozumel. San Gervasio was a sacred Mayan site dedicated to the goddess of fertility.
Located in the heart of the island, in a lush jungle populated with brilliantly colored iguanas and lush flowers and foliage, this Mayan archaeological site has an unusually long history. You can become part of the Mayan culture and its mysteries with this San Gervasio tour.
2. Market of Cozumel, Island
This is the perfect place to mingle with the locals, experience a real old-style typical Mexican Market, taste authentic Mexican food freshly cooked at the various food counters in the market. Gaze at the colorful view of spices piled high in heaping bags, colorful pottery stacked tall, clothing and much, much more.
3. Factory of chocolate
This visit will take you to a real Mayan house. Here you will find a small family-owned Chocolate Factory where the chocolates are made in-house in the artisan way and learn of their traditions and day to day life. 4. The famous Mexican Tequila and History
Today you will enjoy a real taste of Mexico. A day tour in Cozumel, Mexico would not be complete without Tequila, considered sacred by the Aztecs. An expert will take you on a journey through the making of the National Drink of Mexico, and you will learn basic fundamentals, like how to drink tequila to best savor its unique flavors.

5. Turtle Nets
If you are in Cozumel Island between the months of May through November, you may witness one of the most beautiful natural journeys. Hundreds of sea turtles come to the eastern beaches of Cozumel every year to build their nests and lay their eggs.
The season starts in May and a couple of months later, tiny hatchlings emerge from their eggs and make their way to the ocean on their instinctive journey that begins every evening around 5 pm. You will definitely want to include this in your day tour in Cozumel, Mexico during these months.
6. Coconuts, bar and grill
Stop at Coconuts, a popular hangout with the vacation crowd with an amazing view, to sip a drink or take beautiful pictures. It is situated on top of the highest point in Cozumel Island and is accessible via a long and winding staircase made of natural coral rock.
7. Statue of The Lookout
Preserved in its most natural state, the Lookout Statue is a must see place in Cozumel. It is not a standard classic beach. Large rock formations just out into the open ocean with some natural bridges and tidal pools whirling around.
Over thousands of years, the coral rock that composes the Caribbean Sea bed has been pounded by waves which turned the coral reef into these magnificent formations. Climb and walk across to the end where the ocean spray meets this natural rock bridge.
8. National Park Punta Sur
Far from the tourist crowds, you will find a true off-the-beaten-path discovery of one of nature’s masterpieces. Punta Sur National Park is the biggest natural Eco-reserve on Cozumel Island.
This area is known for its mangrove-lined lagoons, which offer a wide array of local flora and fauna. Enjoy the most beautiful beach of Cozumel, climb up our lighthouse and take amazing photos of crocodiles, exotic birds, fish and flowers.
9. Las Cinco Soles shopping experience
If you’re looking for some souvenirs in the island, this is the best shopping experience you will have on the island. Take the time to look and discover a world of Mexican wonders such as black ceramics, pottery, colorful Day of the Dead skeleton dioramas, folk-art, handicrafts, and many more highly original products from all over Mexico, all at affordable prices.
10. Palancar Beach
This is a nice beach for family-friendly fun and fantastic views; it’s hard to do better on the island. One of Cozumel’s most beautiful beaches, Playa Palancar is a laid-back beach where you can relax in a hammock under the coconut-palm trees or swim and snorkel.
There are several small restaurants and shops selling seafood, drinks and snacks or renting snorkeling equipment and organizing dives. 11. The town of the Corn
This exceptional experience will lead you to a little gem of the authentic Mayan lifestyle. This Pre-Hispanic Park is a re-created ancient Mayan village compound comprised of seven palapas, or traditional thatched huts. Each one has a specific purpose and provides a glimpse into the ancient Mayan lifestyle and customs.
Learn the history in a dynamic way, such as how to use corn to make tortillas, how to barter for things that you would like, taste honey from stingless bees or how to make chocolate from the Cocoa bean. Interactive activities are provided throughout this town to experience authentic village life.
