Itinerary

We will meet after breakfast to start the sailing and snorkeling adventure day, during the tour we will do three snorkeling stops along the Belize Barrier Reef.

Its name is of Mayan origin and means “Little Channel”, its shallow, clear Caribbean waters are ideal to explore the awesome formations of coral reefs below. The channel boasts wonderfully healthy and diverse marine life, don’t miss the chance to get a closer look at 160 different species of fish, sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays. This reserve is filled with a variety of marine life. Here the most impressive coral formations have been protected for over 30 years.

The second stop is just a short quick boat ride away and we will arrive at a shallow channel, only eight-foot deep where these two fascinating species are found in abundance. They have come because they heard the boat arrive and they are looking for some scraps of fish. Divemasters often feed them small fish, truly unforgettable adventures.

The Shark Ray Alley is one of the seven best “Animal Dives” in the Caribbean according to the magazine “Skin Diver”. You can swim and snorkel among these gentle stingrays and harmless brown nurse sharks. Although it is best to avoid touching them, they truly seem to enjoy human interaction, some will even swim in circles around us rubbing against our legs.

This third stop will dazzle you, located on the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve, its clear shallow waters allow great visibility of the beautifully colored mazes of coral formations and hundreds of fish around you. The Coral Gardens are undoubtedly one of the best places to dive freely and wander wherever you like once in the water. Snorkelers will certainly enjoy this encounter with nature in these gardens teeming with colored fish.

Surrounded by the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean, this island is the largest of many on the Belizean coast. This stop can be added when we have a sailing tour from Caye Caulker, you will spend a couple of hours in one of the most well-known top destinations in this country.

Beautiful white sandy beaches, mangroves, lagoons, and the laid-back town of San Pedro, make this island an ideal place to spend some time exploring, or if you prefer just relax on the beach and have a refreshing drink. Here you will find many seafood restaurants and Caribbean beach pursuits. The main mode of transportation here is golf carts and the only town on the island throb with locals driving them. There are many good reasons to visit Ambergris Caye, the island buzzes with action, and has that laid-back-down atmosphere that is like so much to travelers.
