A perfect full-day tour to discover Panama City, visit the charming “Casco Antiguo,” or Old Quarter, where you will be launched back in time as you admire the lovely colonial houses, the narrow roads, and the impressive churches, a combination of Italian, French, and Spanish colonial styles.
To end the day, you will visit the Biomuseo, which is located in the Amador Causeway. Here you will feel legends come to life, a themed museum telling the tale of how the isthmus of Panama rose from the sea, uniting two continents, separating a vast ocean in two, and changing the planet’s biodiversity forever. The permanent exhibition is a combination of art and science joined to create a marvelous phenomenon.
Enjoy one of the greatest engineering marvels of all time. The tour starts at the north end of the Gaillard Cut where the Chagres River flows into the canal. This is one of the main points of interest for visitors because it was carved through the Continental Divide. This section of the Canal is full of history and geological value.
Once in the Pacific Ocean, the vessel will set sail to the beautiful Flamenco Marina where passengers disembark and you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Today you’ll travel through the Trans-Isthmian railway system with a panoramic view of the Soberania National Park jungle. You will travel alongside the Panama Canal and visit the city of Portobelo. Here, you will visit the most interesting and historic ruins: the remains of the church of La Merced, the church of San Felipe, the forts of Santiago and San Geronimo, the Customs House, and the beautifully carved statue of Jesus of Nazareth also known as the “Black Christ.”
This tour will take you through Gatun River in a canoe to meet one of the most authentic ethnic groups of the country: the Embera Community. These Native Panamenians have inhabited and sheltered the most pristine tropical forest. Here, you can’t help but enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna of the region and interact with the members of the community as they share their music, dances, culture, and traditions.
The tour begins in the visitor’s center, where you may observe up to 13 different species of hummingbirds feeding nearby. It’s famous observation tower is over 100 feet high with observation platforms every 25 feet until the terrace, peeking over the breathtaking forest canopy. On the lake-side, the view showcases aquatic birds such as wattled jacanas, least grebes, herons, and snail kites, as well as monkeys, crocodiles, coatis, butterflies and two- and three-toed sloths, an excellent opportunity for birdwatchers and nature-lovers!
