A perfect full-day tour to discover Panama City, visit the charming “Casco Antiguo,” or Old Quarter, where you will be launched back in time as you admire the lovely colonial houses, the narrow roads, and the impressive churches, a combination of Italian, French, and Spanish colonial styles.

To end the day, you will visit the Biomuseo, which is located in the Amador Causeway. Here you will feel legends come to life, a themed museum telling the tale of how the isthmus of Panama rose from the sea, uniting two continents, separating a vast ocean in two, and changing the planet’s biodiversity forever. The permanent exhibition is a combination of art and science joined to create a marvelous phenomenon.

Day 3Partial Panama Canal Transit

Famous Panama Canal

Enjoy one of the greatest engineering marvels of all time. The tour starts at the north end of the Gaillard Cut where the Chagres River flows into the canal. This is one of the main points of interest for visitors because it was carved through the Continental Divide. This section of the Canal is full of history and geological value.

Once in the Pacific Ocean, the vessel will set sail to the beautiful Flamenco Marina where passengers disembark and you will be transferred back to your hotel.
The tour is subject to availability based on the Canal’s authorities schedule.

Day 4Portobello by Train ‘The Golden Route’

Today you’ll travel through the Trans-Isthmian railway system with a panoramic view of the Soberania National Park jungle. You will travel alongside the Panama Canal and visit the city of Portobelo. Here, you will visit the most interesting and historic ruins: the remains of the church of La Merced, the church of San Felipe, the forts of Santiago and San Geronimo, the Customs House, and the beautifully carved statue of Jesus of Nazareth also known as the “Black Christ.”
